About Amarna

Amarna is a sans serif typeface designed by Ishtār van Looy, published as an open-source font in 2025. It carries a composed, professional tone, which shapes where it works best. The family ships 14 styles and is available as a variable font, so any weight in between is available too.

Language support extends beyond basic Latin to latin-ext. Because Amarna is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, you can use it in commercial work without buying anything or crediting anyone in the design itself.
