Spectral is a serif typeface designed by Production Type, published as an open-source font in 2017. It carries a composed, professional tone, which shapes where it works best. The family ships 14 styles.

Language support extends beyond basic Latin to cyrillic, cyrillic-ext, latin-ext, vietnamese. Because Spectral is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, you can use it in commercial work without buying anything or crediting anyone in the design itself.

The SIL Open Font License is the most common open font licence.
