About Deutsch Gothic

Deutsch Gothic is a blackletter font by James Fordyce, made in 1994 and based on an old German gothic alphabet. Its heavy, broken strokes and pointed curves look like letters written with a broad pen in old German books.

It has upper and lowercase, numbers and punctuation. The capitals are wide and decorative, while the lowercase stays narrow and dark. It suits certificates, beer and bakery labels, tattoo designs, band logos and medieval themes.
