About Showtime

Showtime is a border font by Randy Ford of ARRF, released in 1998. Every letter sits inside a piece of film strip with sprocket holes, so a typed word becomes a strip of film. Type a parenthesis or bracket to start and end the strip, and an underscore for a space.

It is made for movie nights, cinema invitations, film festival graphics and retro theatre signs. Showtime is freeware; the designer asks to be told before commercial use.
